Vennela Gaddar Responds to Pawan’s Remarks

Vennela Gaddar, daughter of legendary folk singer and Telangana activist Gaddar, strongly reacted to recent comments made by Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. She stated that Telangana was not achieved through money, influence, or political lobbying, but through years of sacrifices and a determined struggle for self-respect. According to her, Telangana belongs to its people and future generations who continue to protect its identity.

She further recalled the hardships faced during the Telangana movement, stating that many activists and students sacrificed their lives for statehood. Vennela pointed out that several families lost their children and many individuals faced severe repression for supporting the cause. While acknowledging that many people admire Pawan Kalyan as an actor and as a fan of Gaddar, she stressed that the sacrifices behind Telangana’s formation should never be forgotten.
