VD Satheesan Announced as Kerala Chief Minister

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has officially announced VD Satheesan as the new Chief Minister of Kerala. This development has caused disappointment to KC Venugopal.

Hailing from Nettur in Ernakulam district, Satheesan practiced as a lawyer in the High Court before entering active politics. He has been consecutively elected as MLA from Paravur six times in 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, 2021, and 2026.
