Speaking at the 10th National Narcotics Coordination (NCORD) meeting in Delhi, he urged states to suggest amendments and stressed a strict approach toward drug suppliers and traffickers.
Shah highlighted major achievements in drug seizures, stating that India has significantly increased its crackdown on narcotics in recent years. He also unveiled a three-step strategy—“Identify, Block, and Destroy”—along with a vision document for 2026–29.
