Four people were killed and 68 others injured in a recent attack on a wedding celebration in southern Iran. Iran has alleged that the tragedy was caused by a US strike, turning a wedding ceremony into a scene of mourning. The incident has drawn attention amid ongoing tensions between the two countries.
US Vice President JD Vance responded to the incident on Thursday, saying that an investigation was underway. He said the US wanted to determine exactly what had happened. The US military also acknowledged reports of the incident in the media and said it was trying to establish the facts. Earlier, a US Central Command spokesperson strongly rejected the allegation, saying US forces do not have a practice of targeting civilians like Iranian forces allegedly do.
