The United States has launched airstrikes on Iranian radar installations, escalating tensions between the two countries once again. According to American officials, Iran initially attempted an attack by launching four drones in the Strait of Hormuz. The United States claimed that all four drones were intercepted and destroyed before they could pose a threat.
In response, the US military carried out strikes on radar sites monitoring coastal regions in Goruk and Qeshm Island. American authorities stated that the operation targeted surveillance infrastructure used to track activity along the coastline. Following the strikes, reports and discussions about a possible escalation of the conflict have been spreading widely on social media.
