Union Minister Extends Greetings to Telangana Transport Department

Nitin Gadkari lauded the reforms and development initiatives undertaken by the Telangana Transport Department. The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways appreciated the department’s decision to abolish transport check-posts, efficiently integrate the Vahan and Sarathi platforms, establish automated driving testing tracks, and strengthen enforcement through technology-driven road safety inspections.

The Union Minister stated that Telangana’s transport initiatives are fully aligned with the Ministry’s vision for digital governance, seamless transportation management, and enhanced road safety. He also praised the state government’s efforts in promoting sustainable transportation and creating public awareness. Additionally, Nitin Gadkari appreciated the awareness campaigns conducted by the department as part of the National Road Safety Month aimed at reducing road accidents in Telangana.
