Uber CEO Meets CM Revanth Reddy

Revanth Reddy met Dara Khosrowshahi at his residence in Jubilee Hills to discuss Uber’s future expansion plans in Telangana. The meeting was attended by Uber Chief Business Officer Madhu Kannan, Uber India & South Asia President Prabhjeet Singh, Chief Technology Officer Praveen Nippalli Naga, and CM’s Special Secretary Ajit Reddy. Uber representatives informed the Chief Minister that the company is expanding its Center of Excellence in Hyderabad, which currently employs around 600 engineers and is the company’s first such center outside the United States.

During the discussions, Uber also expressed interest in establishing a corporate office in the proposed Future City project in Telangana. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy suggested that Uber explore opportunities in the parking management sector, highlighting the growing parking challenges in major Indian cities. He recommended the development of multi-level parking centers to address future urban infrastructure needs. Uber representatives assured the government that they would conduct a detailed study on the proposal, while the Chief Minister reiterated the state government's full support for Uber’s business expansion initiatives.
