Amid escalating regional tensions, the United Arab Emirates has announced the suspension of all trade, commercial exchanges and financial transactions with Iran until further notice. The decision was announced by the UAE Foreign Ministry. Abu Dhabi has accused Iran of launching two ballistic missiles toward its territory, while Tehran has denied the allegation.
Meanwhile, tensions between Iran and the United States over the Strait of Hormuz continue to intensify. Recent reports say US President Donald Trump opposed an agreement involving Iran and Oman on the management of the strategic waterway and issued strong warnings over Oman’s role. With maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz significantly reduced, concerns are also growing over oil supplies and regional trade.
