Amid rising West Asia tensions, reports claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a secret visit to the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday sparked widespread speculation. However, the UAE government strongly denied these claims, stating that neither Netanyahu nor any Israeli military delegation visited the country.
The UAE clarified that all relations with Israel remain open and transparent under the Abraham Accords, and there is no place for secret engagements. Meanwhile, Netanyahu’s office later confirmed that he did meet UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during an official visit, describing it as a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties amid the ongoing tensions involving Iran.
