China is witnessing widespread devastation as Typhoon Mysak continues to bring torrential rainfall and severe flooding across several regions. In Nanning City, a reservoir breach triggered massive flooding, with videos showing cars being swept away by powerful floodwaters. Authorities reported a record 74.5 cm of rainfall within 24 hours, highlighting the intensity of the storm.
The disaster has claimed two lives, while emergency teams have evacuated nearly 50,000 residents to safer locations. Rescue and relief operations are underway as officials continue to monitor water levels and weather conditions. Authorities have urged residents in vulnerable areas to remain alert as heavy rainfall is expected to continue.
