The Tungabhadra Dam in Kurnool is witnessing continuous inflows following recent rainfall in the upstream catchment areas. At present, the reservoir is receiving nearly 45,000 cusecs of water, while there is no outflow being released from the dam. The steady inflows have contributed to a gradual increase in the reservoir's storage levels.
Officials said that around 6 TMC of water has entered the reservoir over the past four days. The Tungabhadra Dam has a maximum storage capacity of 105.788 TMC, and the current storage stands at 15.049 TMC. Authorities are closely monitoring the inflow situation and reservoir levels as rainfall continues across the river basin.
