TTD to Issue Smart ID Cards to Staff

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has issued proceedings for the introduction of smart identity cards for its contract and outsourcing staff. The cards will feature QR codes and will be printed in different colours based on the nature of the employees’ duties. The smart cards are intended to make staff identification and access to various facilities more convenient.

Employees holding the smart cards will be eligible to receive 10 laddus every month at a subsidised price of ₹20. They will also be provided an opportunity to have Srivari darshan once every three months through the Supatham entrance. The initiative is aimed at streamlining access to benefits and facilities available to TTD’s contract and outsourcing personnel.
