TTD Additional EO C. H. Venkaiah Chowdary has directed all departments to work in coordination to make the upcoming Navaratri Brahmotsavams more successful, drawing on the experience of the recent Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams. He said feedback from devotees showed over 95 percent satisfaction with arrangements in several departments, including Annaprasadam, electrical and floral decorations. With the Navaratri Brahmotsavams expected to attract more devotees, TTD is making advance arrangements for food, procurement, supplies, transportation and logistics, while estimating around 20 percent more pilgrims than during the previous Brahmotsavams.
The Additional EO said priority would continue to be given to ordinary devotees by regulating VIP and other special darshans wherever necessary to reduce waiting times. Security arrangements will be strengthened in coordination with the district police, while vigilance teams will streamline processions and vehicle sevas. TTD is also preparing contingency measures for possible rains in October and reviewing SVBC live telecasts, cultural programmes and Nadaneerajanam. Devotees have been urged to follow official TTD information regarding pilgrim flow, vehicles, parking, Annaprasadam and darshan arrangements while planning their visit.
