The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board, chaired by B.R. Naidu, approved several key proposals during its meeting, where 72 agenda items were discussed. Major decisions include the construction of permanent shelters, queue lines, and toilets for SSD token devotees near Alwar Tank at a cost of ₹6.31 crore, a double-lane bridge near the Kumaradhara–Pasupudhara dams for ₹2.77 crore, installation of an 800-kW wind turbine, scientific processing of legacy solid waste, fire safety upgrades, new buildings, and the printing of TTD diaries and calendars for 2027. The Board also approved a guest house at Ontimitta, gold kavachams for the Kodandarama Swamy idol, development works at Gangamma Temple, recruitment of Vedic scholars, and increased remuneration for artists associated with TTD projects.
TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra announced a revised donor policy aimed at balancing donor privileges with the convenience of common devotees. While certain donor benefits have been rationalized under the new policy, he clarified that existing donors who have already made contributions will continue to receive their current facilities without any changes. The revised policy comes into effect from midnight.
