Uranium has emerged as a central issue in the ongoing peace talks between the United States and Iran. Donald Trump, in a recent statement, suggested that Iran should either hand over its enriched uranium to the United States or allow it to be destroyed under the supervision of an international atomic authority. Reports indicate that Iran has, in principle, agreed to give up its enriched uranium reserves. Masoud Pezeshkian has also stated that Iran is not pursuing nuclear weapons and is willing to reassure the global community.
Meanwhile, tensions in the Middle East have escalated further as Israel launched extensive strikes on Lebanon, targeting more than 70 Hezbollah positions. According to military sources, at least 10 command centers along with several weapons depots were destroyed in the operation. These developments have raised fresh concerns over regional stability and security.
