Donald Trump, the President of the United States, will visit China from Wednesday to Friday at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, a foreign ministry spokesperson confirmed on Monday. This marks Trump’s return to China after nine years, with his last official visit as President taking place in 2017.
Trump is expected to arrive in Beijing by Wednesday evening and will participate in several official engagements. He will also hold bilateral talks with Xi Jinping on Thursday and Friday. The visit gains significance amid rising global tensions, including the Iran conflict, the Strait of Hormuz situation, and concerns over a potential global economic slowdown.
