Actress Trisha Krishnan has been at the centre of attention in Tamil Nadu over the past few days following remarks by DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin that were widely perceived as an indirect reference to her. Amid the controversy, Trisha shared a series of cryptic Instagram Stories without naming anyone. The posts included pictures from her grandmother’s 98th birthday celebrations along with messages about unnecessary drama, earning money and finding peace, and being grateful for the life one once prayed for. The posts quickly went viral and sparked speculation about their intended meaning.
The Instagram Stories reportedly disappeared within a day, leading to speculation among social media users about whether Trisha had deleted them herself. Meanwhile, AIADMK leader and former minister RB Udhayakumar also triggered controversy after making a remark questioning when Trisha would become Tamil Nadu’s Deputy Chief Minister. The comments prompted protests from Trisha Welfare Association organisers and fans, who put up posters across Chennai condemning the remarks.
