A delegation of tribal and Adivasi MLAs led by Minister Seethakka met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at the State Secretariat on Thursday. They submitted representations seeking additional welfare measures for tribal communities and agency areas across the state.
The MLAs requested 2,000 more Indiramma houses for agency constituencies, land titles for podu lands, implementation of the Indira Giri Jala Vikasam scheme, upgradation of tribal residential schools up to Intermediate level, and strengthening of ITDAs. Ministers Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Adluri Laxman Kumar, Azharuddin, and MLAs Adinarayana, Payam Venkateswarlu, Koram Kanakaiah, Tellam Venkat Rao, and Vedma Bojju attended the meeting.
