

Odisha Governor Kambhampati Hari Babu highlighted the importance of tribal development in achieving the vision of ‘Viksit Odisha’. Addressing a seminar on ‘Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups of Odisha’ at Lok Bhavan in Bhubaneswar, he said the government is implementing various initiatives to ensure that tribal communities progress in all sectors. He stated that the development of tribal communities is essential for the overall growth of the state and the country.
The Governor mentioned the achievement of Champa Rasapada from Malkangiri, who cleared the NEET examination and secured admission to Fakir Mohan Medical College in Balasore. During the event, a report on the health standards of tribal communities was released. The Governor noted that malnutrition remains a concern in some areas, affecting the health of tribal children, and stressed the need for effective measures to address the issue.
