Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said the RTC-Metro common pass will make commuting in Hyderabad more convenient. Bhatti and his team travelled from Begumpet to Jubilee Hills Check Post using the common pass to experience its benefits firsthand. He said integrating Metro and RTC services would make transfers easier for passengers and provide better connectivity between Metro stations and their destinations.
Bhatti said RTC buses would serve as an important first and last-mile connectivity option for Metro commuters. He said the government plans to further expand the integration of Metro and RTC services and is also considering linking other modes such as autos and app-based cab services in the future. Bhatti thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar for introducing the common pass and said the government’s focus was on making travel from home to the final destination easier.
