Transport department issues key orders

The government has issued orders implementing a system to complete permanent registration of new vehicles within 24 hours. For vehicles receiving temporary registration at dealerships, transport officials must either approve, reject, or record objections in writing within the stipulated time frame.

If no action is taken within the deadline, the application will be treated as deemed approved. The Transport Department has directed coordination with NIC to make necessary changes in the VAHAN portal to implement this system. These orders were issued by Special Chief Secretary M.T. Krishna Babu.
