Transport Department Issues Key Orders for Smooth Paddy Transportation

As paddy procurement operations intensify across the state, the Transport Department Commissioner has instructed officials to ensure the availability of sufficient lorries and tractors for smooth transportation. Officials were directed to focus on the timely movement of paddy from procurement centers to warehouses and rice mills.

The Commissioner also emphasized coordination with district administrations and the Civil Supplies Department to meet transportation requirements without delay. All transport vehicles involved in paddy movement must carry valid documents, including RC, fitness certificate, permit, insurance, pollution certificate, and driving license. Officials were further instructed to resolve transportation issues immediately and maintain continuous monitoring of transportation arrangements.
