Trainee IPS Incident Shocks Hyderabad

A trainee IPS officer, Uday Krishna Reddy, allegedly attempted suicide in the Erragadda–Motinagar area of Hyderabad. After he reportedly fell ill, he was immediately shifted to Jayanth Hospital in Erragadda, where he is currently undergoing treatment under medical supervision.

Uday Krishna Reddy has been facing allegations of harassment made by a fellow trainee woman IPS officer. A case related to the allegations had earlier been registered at Attapur Police Station. Police have begun an investigation into the latest incident, while further official details are awaited.
