Traffic System Around KBR Park Set for a Major Change

A permanent one-way traffic system is set to be introduced around KBR Park in Hyderabad as part of efforts to improve traffic management. The plan includes reducing the number of road dividers on the one-way stretch and widening it to six lanes. The proposed realignment of the project around KBR Park has also received the green signal, according to reports.

Under the revised proposal, seven flyovers and seven underpasses will be replaced with one flyover and one underpass. A 4.4-km elevated flyover is proposed from Nagarjuna Circle to Jubilee Hills Check Post. The changes are aimed at easing traffic congestion around KBR Park and improving connectivity in the busy corridor.
