Traffic Restrictions in Hyderabad

Traffic restrictions will be imposed in several parts of Hyderabad from Tuesday evening in view of the Milad-un-Nabi celebrations. City Traffic Joint Commissioner of Police Joel Davis said the ‘Jalsa’ programme will be held from 6 pm on August 25 to 4 am on August 26. The event is expected to affect vehicular movement in several parts of the city.

To prevent traffic congestion and ensure smooth movement of vehicles, Hyderabad Traffic Police will implement route diversions and suggest alternative routes wherever necessary. Motorists have been advised to follow traffic police instructions and use the designated alternative routes during the period of restrictions.
