TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud paid rich tributes to Panduga Sayanna on his birth anniversary in Nizamabad, describing him as a courageous leader who fought for the poor and weaker sections of society. He said Sayanna inspired people’s resistance against oppression in Telangana. His struggle against the exploitation of landlords and feudal elites during the Nizam’s rule instilled courage and self-respect among marginalised communities, Goud noted.
Mahesh Kumar Goud said Panduga Sayanna’s fight against social inequalities and injustice remains an enduring part of Telangana’s history. He described Sayanna’s life as an inspiration for future generations and stressed the need to protect the rights of the poor and disadvantaged by following his ideals. Goud added that the Congress party continues to work towards equality, social justice and self-respect, and that strengthening welfare measures, ensuring equal opportunities and advancing social justice in Telangana would be a fitting tribute to Sayanna.
