Tourists Queueing Up For Vizag

Visakhapatnam witnessed a massive tourism boom in 2025, recording more than 2.11 crore tourist visits across its famous attractions. Simhachalam Temple topped the list with over 64 lakh visitors, followed by RK Beach with more than 40 lakh footfalls. Sri Venkateswara Temple, Kanaka Mahalakshmi Temple, Kailasagiri Park and Rushikonda Beach also attracted huge crowds throughout the year.

Museums, heritage spots and leisure destinations in Vizag also saw strong tourist traffic. INS Kursura Museum, TU-142 Aircraft Museum and Maritime Museum received lakhs of visitors, while beaches like Yarada and Bheemili remained major crowd pullers. Officials say Vizag’s growing tourism infrastructure and scenic attractions are turning the city into one of the most preferred travel destinations in the country.
