TN Chief Minister Vijay Orders Closure of 717 Liquor Shops

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has ordered the closure of 717 TASMAC liquor shops across the state. The government has announced that 276 shops located near places of worship, 186 shops near educational institutions, and 255 shops near bus stands will be shut down within two weeks. The decision is aimed at regulating liquor outlets in sensitive and high-footfall public areas operated by TASMAC.
