

Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy praised the Tirupati district police for solving the Tirumala Hanuman idol theft case within 24 hours. He said the swift investigation, carried out with the coordinated efforts of TTD Vigilance, the Tirupati Police, and the AI-based Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), led to the identification of the accused and the recovery of the stolen idol. The minister commended the district police, the Superintendent of Police, the investigation team, and TTD Vigilance officials for their prompt and effective response.
The minister said advanced technology, CCTV surveillance, and intelligence inputs played a key role in cracking the case quickly. He also noted that the ICCC, established using advanced AI technology, provided valuable technical evidence that accelerated the investigation. Anam Ramnarayana Reddy directed officials to further strengthen security arrangements at Tirumala and other major temples across the state. He warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone involved in offences against temple idols and appealed to devotees to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police or temple authorities.
