A heavy rush of devotees continues at Tirumala, with devotees waiting for nearly 20 hours for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara. As of 5 pm on Wednesday, all 31 compartments at Vaikuntham Queue Complex-2 and nine sheds at Narayanagiri were filled with devotees opting for Sarva Darshan. The queue extended up to the Octopus building circle, while devotees with time-slot tokens were waiting in six compartments at Vaikuntham Queue Complex-1.
The Hundi collection on Monday stood at ₹4.13 crore. On Tuesday, a total of 77,082 devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara, while 34,039 devotees offered their hair as a religious offering.
