Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra has said that devotee footfall during the upcoming Navaratri Brahmotsavams is expected to increase by around 25–30%. With holidays coinciding with the Peratasi month, a larger number of devotees are likely to visit Tirumala. He said the recent Salakatla Brahmotsavams concluded peacefully and successfully without causing inconvenience to devotees.
The TTD is conducting a comprehensive review of accommodation, food, medical facilities, sanitation and transportation arrangements in view of the expected increase in crowd, Ravichandra said. The arrangements that worked effectively during the Salakatla Brahmotsavams will be continued, while necessary measures are being taken to address minor shortcomings noticed earlier. All departments have been instructed to coordinate closely according to the expected rush. The EO appealed to devotees to visit Tirumala in large numbers, have a peaceful darshan of Lord Venkateswara and witness the various Vahana Sevas.
