The Millionaire Husband of the Actress Who Starred with Shah Rukh Khan

The Hurun India Rich List 2026 has put Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and real estate entrepreneur Vikas Oberoi in the spotlight. Shah Rukh Khan has been listed as the richest Indian actor with a net worth of ₹10,000 crore, while Vikas Oberoi, husband of his Swades co-star Gayatri Oberoi, has a reported net worth of ₹48,100 crore. Vikas is ranked 59th among India’s richest individuals, compared with 58th last year when his wealth was estimated at ₹42,960 crore.

Gayatri Oberoi, formerly Gayatri Joshi, made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Ashutosh Gowariker’s 2004 film Swades. The film became her only acting project. She married Vikas Oberoi in 2005 and subsequently stepped away from the film industry, choosing to focus on her family. Before entering films, Gayatri worked as a VJ and participated in the Femina Miss India International pageant before representing India at Miss International 2000.
