Amid the ongoing US–Iran conflict, a video shared by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Instagram has drawn significant attention online. The video highlights a historic Vishnu temple located in Bandar Abbas, Iran. According to historian Mohammad Ali, the temple was built around 134 years ago by Indian traders who traveled to Iran for commerce.

Constructed in an Indo-Persian architectural style, the temple features 72 small towers adorned with depictions of Hindu deities. Although no active worship takes place there today, the structure stands as a testament to the historical and cultural ties between India and Iran, as noted by experts.
