The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has introduced a new weekly bus pass priced at ₹600 to make travel more affordable and convenient within Greater Hyderabad. The pass is valid for seven consecutive days from the date of purchase and allows passengers to travel unlimited times on city bus services, including air-conditioned buses. However, the facility does not apply to Pushpak Airport Liner services. The new option has been introduced alongside the existing daily and monthly passes, giving regular commuters and short-term visitors another convenient way to travel across the city without purchasing separate tickets for every journey.
The weekly pass is expected to benefit daily commuters, tourists, business travellers and people staying in Hyderabad for a short period. Passes are available at city bus pass counters across Hyderabad, according to the corporation. TGSRTC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Y. Nagi Reddy said the initiative aims to encourage greater use of public transport while providing affordable and accessible travel options. The corporation has urged people planning to travel around Greater Hyderabad for a week to make use of the new pass. Passengers should check the applicable conditions at the counter when purchasing it, particularly the exclusion of Pushpak Airport Liner services.
