The Monsoon Session of Parliament commenced with significant disruptions as the Congress party moved an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha over alleged irregularities in Ram Temple donations. Senior Congress leader K. C. Venugopal raised concerns of large-scale financial misappropriation within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He demanded that regular proceedings be suspended to allow a detailed discussion on the issue and called for an independent probe under the supervision of a Supreme Court judge.
Amid continued protests, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12 noon. Opposition parties also pressed for discussions on Ayodhya-related issues and the NEET examination. The Speaker urged members to maintain decorum, stating that raising slogans during Question Hour is inappropriate and advising all MPs to adhere to parliamentary norms and conduct.
