Tension Erupts at Telangana-Karnataka Border Over Garbage Dumping!

Tension prevailed along the Telangana-Karnataka border after residents alleged that garbage collected from Karnataka’s Bidar district was being dumped near the Telangana border villages. People from Nyalkal mandal said they have been facing severe inconvenience due to the unbearable foul smell spreading across nearby areas.

Villagers of Malgi staged a protest and stopped garbage vehicles from entering the region. Locals alleged that Bidar police were threatening those opposing the dumping activity. Residents demanded the immediate removal of the dumping yard and urged authorities to take strict action to prevent further dumping near Telangana villages.
