Telangana Women’s Commission Appointments Announced!

The Telangana Government has announced the appointments to the Telangana Women’s Commission. Senior leader Gadwal Vijayalakshmi has been appointed as the Chairperson of the commission. Telangana Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao issued the official orders regarding the appointments.

Along with the Chairperson, several prominent women leaders and activists have been appointed as members of the commission. Kasoju Shankaramma, mother of late Telangana ఉద్యమకారుడు Srikanthachary, Chityala Swetha, granddaughter of Telangana armed struggle icon Chakali Ailamma, along with Shashikala Yadav Reddy, Sadalakshmi, Radhabhai, and Uzma Shakeera have been named as members. The appointed members will hold office for a term of five years from the date they assume charge.
