Telangana to Host Khelo India 2026

Telangana has been officially selected to host the 8th Khelo India Youth Games in 2026. The announcement was made by Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya. Telangana Sports and Youth Services Minister Vakiti Srihari welcomed the decision, stating that it reflects the state government's strong commitment to sports development under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

The minister said the event will bring thousands of young athletes from across the country to Telangana, showcasing the state's infrastructure and hospitality. He added that the government is fully committed to conducting the prestigious sporting event successfully through coordinated efforts across all departments, while further promoting sports culture and inspiring young athletes.
