Telangana Thanks Centre for Hosting Khelo India Youth Games 2026

After Telangana was officially announced as the host state for the 8th Khelo India Youth Games 2026, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya was felicitated in Hyderabad by Telangana Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari. Labour Minister Vivek, Government Advisor A.P. Jitender Reddy, and Telangana Sports Authority Chairman Shivasena Reddy also joined the meeting.

The Telangana delegation thanked the Union Government for extending the opportunity to host the prestigious national sporting event. Minister Vakiti Srihari stated that, with the Centre's support and under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Telangana aims to emerge as a leading destination for sports by strengthening infrastructure and promoting young athletes.
