Telangana Student Ties Rakhi to President Murmu

A Telangana student had the rare honour of participating in a special Raksha Bandhan celebration at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. Students selected from 23 Eklavya Model Residential Schools across Telangana were invited to the event. M. Radhika, a Class 9 student of Gandhari Eklavya Model Residential School, was among those selected. The students had the opportunity to meet President Droupadi Murmu, tie a Rakhi on her wrist and extend their Raksha Bandhan greetings.

Following the ceremony, the students also posed for photographs with the President. Radhika’s participation brought recognition to her school and mandal. School Principal Ravindra Kumar, teachers, fellow students and villagers congratulated her on the achievement. They described her participation in the Rashtrapati Bhavan celebration as a rare and memorable opportunity for the student.
