

Telangana is witnessing intense heatwave conditions as soaring temperatures continue to trouble people across the state. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the severe heatwave is likely to persist for the next four days and issued a Red Alert for the first time this season due to extremely dangerous weather conditions. Residents are facing extreme discomfort as scorching temperatures and hot winds continue to impact normal life.
According to the IMD, districts including Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam are likely to experience extremely severe heatwave conditions and have been placed under Red Alert. Orange Alert has been issued for Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanamkonda districts. Meanwhile, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla and Jangaon districts remain under Yellow Alert as authorities advise people to avoid unnecessary travel during peak afternoon hours.
