Telangana Releases TGTET-2026 Notification for In-Service Teachers

The Telangana School Education Department has released the TGTET-2026 notification exclusively for in-service teachers. In accordance with the Supreme Court's directions, qualifying the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TGTET) has become mandatory for teachers to continue in service and to become eligible for promotions. The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for 150 marks, and there will be no negative marking.

Eligible in-service teachers can submit their online applications from July 22 to July 29 through the official website. Hall tickets will be made available from August 31, while the TGTET-2026 examinations are scheduled to be held between September 7 and September 11. The School Education Department has advised all eligible candidates to complete the application process within the stipulated deadline.
