Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao announced the release of the second phase of Rythu Bharosa assistance for farmers owning up to 3 acres of agricultural land. Under this phase, ₹1,590.02 crore has been credited directly into the bank accounts of 10.68 lakh farmers, providing financial support for the ongoing agricultural season.
The minister said that, so far, 54.96 lakh farmers cultivating 67.87 lakh acres have received Rythu Bharosa assistance. The Telangana government has released a total of ₹4,072.04 crore under the scheme, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening the farming community through timely financial aid.
