Telangana Releases Guidelines for New Aasara Pensions

The Telangana government has issued comprehensive guidelines for the sanction of new Aasara pensions under the Cheyutha pension scheme. According to the guidelines, seven categories will be given priority during the first phase of the new pension process. Eligible beneficiaries can submit their applications until August 31, which has been fixed as the deadline.

The government has also clarified that people who had already submitted applications in the past do not need to apply again. The latest guidelines are aimed at streamlining the identification and sanctioning of eligible beneficiaries. A circular regarding the implementation and sanction of Cheyutha pensions has been issued by the SERP CEO, providing directions to the concerned officials.
