The Telangana government has continued the distribution of financial assistance under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, transferring ₹6,590.37 crore directly into farmers' bank accounts within just four days. As part of the fourth phase, farmers owning 4 to 5 acres of agricultural land received financial assistance through direct benefit transfer.
Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said that ₹1,188 crore was credited to the accounts of 4.41 lakh farmers in the latest phase. He added that a total of 65.76 lakh farmers across the state have benefited from the Rythu Bharosa scheme so far, with financial assistance amounting to ₹6,590.37 crore.
