The Telangana government is accelerating efforts to digitise employee records through the Electronic Human Resource Management System (eHRMS). Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju has instructed officials to complete the data entry process by October 15. The initiative aims to bring key employee-related information and services onto a single digital platform, making records easier to manage and access.
The eHRMS platform is expected to consolidate details relating to employee appointments, service records, salaries and allowances, promotions, and Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs). During a review, officials informed the Chief Secretary that data for 3.48 lakh employees had been entered and approximately 93% of the work was complete. Officials have been directed to finish the remaining work within the stipulated deadline.
