Telangana May Extend Anganwadi Summer Holidays

Due to the continuing heatwave and high temperatures across Telangana, several educational institutions have extended their summer vacations. The state government has already extended summer holidays for degree and postgraduate colleges until June 6. Reports now suggest that authorities are considering extending summer holidays for Anganwadi centres as well.

According to the existing schedule, Anganwadi centres were given summer holidays from May 1 to June 1. However, with temperatures remaining extremely high and outdoor conditions becoming difficult even during the morning hours, officials are reportedly considering extending the break until June 10 or June 15. A final decision and official orders are expected within the next two days.
