Telangana Legislature Delegation Receives Warm Welcome in Berlin

A Telangana Legislature delegation visiting Germany as part of a study tour organised under the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) received a warm welcome from Telangana students and members of the Telangana diaspora at Berlin Airport. Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar and Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash were welcomed with bouquets by students from Telangana. The delegation is visiting Germany as part of a broader overseas study tour that also includes Austria and Switzerland.

During the visit, the delegation is scheduled to study parliamentary systems, the functioning of legislatures, democratic processes and the use of modern technology in legislative affairs. The representatives will also examine the roles of public representatives and legislative procedures in the respective countries, while exchanging experiences and practices. The CPA lists Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Gutha Sukhender Reddy and the Telangana Legislature secretaries among the office-bearers of the Telangana branch.
