Telangana Launches ‘Indiramma Indlu’ in Hyderabad CURE Area

The Telangana Government has launched the ‘Indiramma Indlu’ Housing Scheme in Hyderabad's CURE area, with construction set to begin in the first phase across 16 Assembly constituencies, providing 500 houses in each constituency. Speaking at the launch event at the Secretariat, Revenue, Housing and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, along with Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar and Mohammad Azharuddin, unveiled the scheme brochure and the MeeSeva and WhatsApp-based application process. The minister said the government aims to expand the scheme to eight more constituencies and continue the housing programme until every eligible poor family owns a house.

Ponguleti said each beneficiary will receive a 525-square-foot one-bedroom house, with the government providing a ₹5 lakh subsidy, while the remaining beneficiary contribution will be collected in four instalments. Applications can be submitted from July 21 through MeeSeva, WhatsApp (8096958096) and the official website. Eligible applicants must have an annual family income below ₹6 lakh and should not own a house or land within the CURE area. He expressed confidence that construction would be completed swiftly, enabling beneficiaries to celebrate Bonalu next year from their newly built Indiramma homes. The government also announced that a housing initiative for the middle class will be unveiled soon.
