

The Telangana Government is planning to revise minimum wages in a scientific and balanced manner, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said during a review meeting. A committee appointed by the government has thoroughly examined minimum wage policies being implemented in several major states across the country.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that extensive discussions were also held regarding the possible impact of the new Labour Code proposed by the Central Government. He said the Telangana Government is committed to transforming the state into a worker-friendly region. After gathering opinions from all stakeholders, the government will soon take a final decision on minimum wage revision aimed at benefiting lakhs of organised and unorganised sector workers across the state.
